Hey friends! I can’t believe we are already in the middle of June! So let’s jump right into it!
Watching: Dark Matter on Netflix, catching up so I can watch season 3. This show is so, so good. If you are a fan of Firefly, then this show is for you!
I’m also watching Master Chef, and The F Word.
Reading: I finished Geekerella by Ashley Poston, I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons by Kevin Heart, and Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything in Between by Lauren Graham. Right now I am reading Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor, and Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab. I’m trying to catch up on my reading challenge. *sigh* I need more hours in a day. (Stay tuned for more reviews coming!)
Listening: With summer’s sunshine I always mix up what I’m listening to. And right now I am all about country music. It’s so relaxing driving the back roads during work listening to country music with my truck’s windows down. I’m sure by time fall comes around I’ll be back in to rock and roll or pop. I listen to just about everything.
I started a YouTube channel! It’s focus is on planning, stationery/journaling, and unboxings. So far I only have two videos up, but that will be changing as time goes on. You gotta start somewhere, you know? So I am going to be posting Mondays and Thursdays, I believe. In my latest video I share some bits about a giveaway, so be sure to check it out:
E3 happened last week, and it was a mixed bag really. I have about 10 games I am interested in. I will be posting soon all my thoughts about E3 and what games I am interested in.
I think over all though it was a bit of a disappointing showing, the thing I am most looking forward to is the DLC from Horizon Zero Dawn, that looked amazing!
In life news, my boyfriend recently got a new job! It’s a fantastic opportunity, and makes a bunch more money than he was making (about double). The only downside it that it’s an hour and a half away. So he moved in with his parents for the summer, until we can find a new place and move, because my job is still in the same city. So there have been a few adjustments happening.
Since I have had some time on my hands (shocker right?!) I’ve started doing hot yoga, or Bikram Yoga. They heat the room to 100+ and you attempt to do 26 specific poses that work your entire body. The first class was super intimidating and I felt like I was gonna puke. But since then I have take a few more classes and am getting use to it. It’s really fun and challenging. When the class is over I feel so proud of myself, and the next day feels like I have a brand new body, so I guess something is working! I’ve also been learning just how important it is to drink water and stay hydrated through out the day. It makes the class so much easier to get through.
