Rush To Relax ~Boxycharm~

“From stilettos to slippers, get ready to work hard and rest easy!”

The last of my subscription boxes came in a few days ago but I had a very busy weekend, and then I got an awful cold so I’ve been making the couch my best friend,  and Netflix has been keeping me company. But I finally felt well enough to sit down and catch up on my blogging! Yay!

Boxycham is a monthly beauty box for $21 per month. This has been the best beauty box subscription I’ve had out of the ones I have tried. A lot of people compare Boxycharm and Glossybox because they are both $21 per month (much like the comparison between birchbox and ipsy). In each Boxycharm box there are 4 to 6 products, that are typically full sized, once in a while there will be a deluxe sample size.

This month’s theme is Rush To Relax, let’s get into the box!

IMG_7102 Shray Ms. Amazing Facial Mask | $12.00 Full Size

An ultra hydrating mask to quench thirsty, ragged, and dull skin. This moisturizing mask is gentle enough for everyday use yet tough enough for your supercharged life.

I super love the packaging for this face mask. I wonder if you could really send it in the mail? Or I might reuse the packaging for snail mail things… hmm… But hello face masks! I think I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it againg- I love face masks and hair masks! Like of all beauty products those are my ultimate favorites. Followed by hair oil, body lotion, and nail polish.

IMG_7105 Beauty for Real Blush + Glow Stick | $24.00 Full Size

A 2-in-1 blush and highlighter created to not only color and highlight, but also provide anti-aging benefits. This cream -to-powder long wear formula delivers light reflecting benefits and glowing radiance which ensures a smooth beautiful, flawless finish.

I don’t wear blush much, but the highlighter is super pretty so I’m totally going to be using that. I also really like the packaging for this item as well. (I’m a sucker for good packaging, it’s the graphic designer in me- what can I say?)

Realtree for Her 10 mm Travel Sprayer | $12.99

A delightful fragrance with sweet scent of pomegranate, a hint of persimmon and an exotic scent of orchids.

I usually hate getting perfumes in boxes because everyone likes something different. This is the second perfume sample I’ve ever often from Boxycharm, so I’m not really complaining. The last one was Hello from Harvey Prince, which isn’t a horrible smell to me but my boyfriend it smelled like his grandma so that put a stop to that one for me. This one smells a lot younger to me and it’s packaging is super purse/travel friendly. It hasn’t been boyfriend test yet, but if it passes then it will be put to good use, otherwise I’ll be passing it on to a friend probably.

OFRA Banana Powder Godet |$12.00 Full Size

This innovative new product can be used as an all-in-one face powder.

Honestly this seems like a sample, but it says it’s full size, so confused. On their website they sell the same thing in a container for $3 more, why did they send these loose ones? *sigh*  I haven’t tried this product yet, but I like OFRA so I’ll probably like it, it says it can be used as an under eye concealer, a finishing/setting powder, or an eye shadow. Yay multitasking!

IMG_0473 Freeze 24-7 Anti-Aging Eye Syrum |$58.00 Sample

Say goodbye to fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness with this ground breaking lightweight eye serum.

I don’t use anti-aging things. a)I’m to young, & b) I don’t think they actually work. Maybe if it was an all natural product then I would use it but the best ways to “anti-age” your skin is to be good to it + your body. That said I’ll be passing this one along.

IMG_7107 Spongelle You Have My Heart On A String | $15.00 Full Size

A heart shaped body wash infused buffer enriched with hydrating olive oil and a blend of energizing and toning extracts.

I’m really looking forward to using this. I would have tried it already but like I said earlier I’ve been sick and it might be silly but I don’t want my sick germs getting all over it, I’d rather wait till I was healthy.

This months box had 5 full size items and a sample size item. The total worth of the full size items is $75.99, making it one of the lowest priced boxes I’ve gotten but I liked all 5 full size items so that makes this box a winner for me. To bad about the sample size, it’s full size is worth $58, so I’m glad I didn’t get one of those I would have been wasted on me.
